Poem - Reminiscing

Reminiscing

" could something simple be so difficult?
think you have everything,
but the one thing you need the most,
is the furthest away
all you can do is dream of the day
but some of us get scared, back away
got use to us, our days
shine bright, special enough to wait
but you didnt, cant stay,
that's fine,
still respect your decisions anyways
remembered our talks, about us,
how we going be,
about one of us going to want more,
always thought you meant that at me
guess we knew it was coming, eventually

I never stopped believing in us, potentially
but what to do now when everything's done
you set your lifestyle around that one,
its easy to change it,
for someone u truly care for,
even more for love,
but how can u adapt,
when a piece of your life is missing
sitting here all night, reminiscing
but I'm done with the thinking,
gives me a headache everytime, ticking
starting my life again, my old ways

I'll put on a fake smile for now though
juss letting everythin flow "
